Terms of service

These terms apply to every order you place as a consumer on knutten.com. They follow the Dutch rules for distance selling. If anything here differs from your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

1. Ordering and payment

  • The purchase is concluded once you have completed and paid for your order. You receive a confirmation by email.
  • All prices are in euros and include VAT.
  • Shipping costs depend on the country your order is going to. You see them at checkout, before you pay. We charge shipping on small orders as well.

2. Delivery

  • We ship worldwide, as letterbox mail, to the address you give with your order.
  • Products that are in stock ship right away. We deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest, unless we have agreed a different term with you, as with a pre-order.
  • If we cannot meet that term, we will let you know. You may then cancel your order free of charge and you get your money back within 14 days.
  • The risk of loss or damage is ours until you have received the order. If your order does not arrive or arrives damaged, contact us. We send the product again or refund you.

3. Pre-order

  • For a pre-order, the expected delivery term is shown on the product page and in your cart. The Knutten expansion will be delivered in early 2027.
  • You pay when you order.
  • If you order a pre-order together with other products, those ship right away and the pre-order follows as soon as it is available. You pay for shipping once.
  • You may cancel a pre-order free of charge as long as it has not been shipped.

4. Orders outside the EU

For a shipment to a country outside the EU, customs may charge import duties or taxes. Those costs are paid by the recipient.

5. Withdrawal and returns

  • If you buy as a consumer within the EU, you may withdraw from your order without giving a reason until 14 days after delivery. If your order arrives in several shipments, the period starts on the day you receive the last one.
  • Let us know within that period that you are withdrawing. You can use the contact form or the model form at the bottom of this page.
  • Then send the product back within 14 days. The cost of returning it is yours.
  • We refund the purchase price and the standard shipping costs you paid within 14 days of your notice, using the payment method you used. We may wait until we have the product back or until you have shown that you have sent it.
  • You may inspect the product as you would in a shop. If you have used it beyond that, for example by sticking the stickers, we may deduct the loss in value.

6. Guarantee

You are entitled to a product that is sound. If something is wrong with it, let us know. We repair or replace the product free of charge. If that is not possible, you get your money back.

7. Complaints and applicable law

  • If you have a complaint, send us a message with your order number. We respond as soon as possible, and within 14 days at the latest.
  • Dutch law applies to every order. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
